Section 39
Case study and scope

(1) "Inspector appointed by the department" shall investigate the case related to the offense punishable under this Act and after the completion of such investigation, the case shall be filed before the officer who hears the case.
(1A) During the investigation of the case according to sub-section (1), the "inspector assigned by the department" shall have the right to arrest the person involved in the crime, to search any place related to the crime, to take custody of documents or other goods related to the crime and to prepare a warrant.
(1b) During the investigation according to sub-section (1) and (1a), the "inspector assigned by the department" may make a statement to the accused, and if there is a mental basis, may keep him on the date, release the bail or bail or may keep him in custody for a maximum of twenty-five days after taking the prior approval of the officer handling the case.
(1c) "Inspector assigned by the department" may request the assistance of police personnel as needed while carrying out any work under sub-sections (1a) and (1b). If such assistance is requested, the police personnel shall provide the necessary assistance.
(2) When investigating and filing the case according to sub-section (1), the "inspector assigned by the department" may take the opinion of the public prosecutor. After the case is filed, the case will be argued and appealed by the public prosecutor.
